Donald A. DiOrio

97, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Boynton Beach, FL. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Guidone) DiOrio. Mr. DiOrio was a self-employed realtor for many years. He was an avid horse trainer and owner. Donald enjoyed winters in Florida. He was a US Navy veteran who served in WWII.

Donald was the husband of the late Judith DiOrio and the long-time companion of the late Dolores Regine, her son Michael Regine and his wife Roseann. He was the brother of the late Raymond and Kenneth DiOrio. Donald was the brother in law of Margaret “Babs” DiOrio. He is also survived by his two nephews Kenneth John DiOrio and Anthony DiOrio, his niece Donna DiOrio.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan 15th, at 9:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. Burial is respectfully private. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. Masks are required.
