DOMENICO POMPEI
91, of Cranston passed away on Sunday June 27, 2010 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of the late Concetta (Forte) Pompei.
Born in Pico, Italy he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Caparelli) Pompei. Mr. Pompei worked at Vaughn Lumber for 30 years, before retiring in 1984.
He was the beloved father of Joseph Pompei, Rocco Pompei, and Antonio Pompei all of Johnston; loving grandfather of 5; and loving great-grandfather of 10; and brother of the late Filomena Carnevale.
His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1492 Cranston St. Cranston at 10:00 a.m. followed by Entombment in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
