Domenico "Tom" D'Angelo, 91, of Heath St., Providence, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Jennie C. (Loffredo) D'Angelo.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Ralph and Madeline (Pignatore) D'Angelo, he was a lifelong Providence resident.
Mr. D'Angelo was a weaver in the textile industry for 48 years, retiring in 1982. He was a WW-II Army Veteran.
He was the devoted father of Barbara J. DiCarlo and her husband Frank of Johnston and Thomas G. D'Angelo and his wife Jennie of Foster; loving grandfather of Lisa DiCarlo, Thomas A. D'Angelo and Timothy M. D'Angelo; and dear brother of Connie Balasco and Ralph D'Angelo, both of North Providence, and the late Ugo D'Angelo, Rose Rotondo and Sophie Young.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston, followed by interment with Military Honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
