DOMENIC T. ZUENA, 93, of Farmington Ave., Cranston, passed away Friday, December 12, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary C. (Domenicone) Zuena.
Born in Cranston, a son of the late John and Maria (Matrullo) Zuena, he was a lifelong Cranston resident.
Domenic was a construction worker for the former Campanella & Cardi Construction Company for many years before retiring and was a member of Laborers International Local 271. He was a WW-II U.S. Army Veteran and a member of V.F.W. Post 2396.
He was the devoted father of Geraldine Lebeau of Cranston and Deborah Napolitano of Johnston; dear brother of Filomena Amalifatano of Cranston and the late Salvatore, Nicholas, Ernest and John Zuena, Josephine Fabrizio, Etta Cardillo and Adeline Pirolli; loving grandfather of five; and loving great-grandfather of three.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
