84, of Safety Harbor, Florida, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of fifty-seven years to the late Ursula I. (Kattner) Vinacco. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenic and Marie (Rossi) Vinacco. Domenic spent most of his life in Warwick, before moving to Florida in 2009. He most recently resided with his daughter in Ohio where he died following a lengthy illness. Domenic was a self employed excavation contractor for over fifty years and the owner of the former Domenic Vinacco & Sons before his retirement. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War era.
He was the dear father of Audrey U. Kaplan and her husband John of West Chester, Ohio, Richard K. Vinacco and his wife Barbara of Greenville, and Karl E. Vinacco and his wife Eleanor of Bolton, MA. Domenic was the father of the late Kurt D. Vinacco. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. Domenic was the brother of Rosa Lima of Shingle Springs, CA and the late Joseph, Anthony, and Louis Vinacco, Mary Trombley, and Anna Morey.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 445 Elmwood Avenue, Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
