Domenic Nascenzi

Domenic Nascenzi, 96 Of Cranston passed away Wednesday October 25, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Tito and Antonetta (Testa) Nascenzi. He was the beloved husband of the late Angelina (Porecca) Nascenzi, they were married for 23 years prior to her passing in 2001.

Domenic proudly served his country in the US Army, during the WWII era. He graduated from Bryant College, with his Bachelor of Science, with a specialty of accounting. He then went on to work for US Government first at Quonset, then later in Newport. Dom was a devout catholic, a lifelong, and very active member of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Providence. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Bartholomew’s and a member of the 3rd Order of St. Dominic. He and his wife Angie enjoyed traveling together, they went to Italy, the Holy Lands, and several cruises. Yearly they would stay in Arizona for the colder months, on their way to Arizona they would visit and stay with family in Oklahoma. Domenic enjoyed visiting the Presidential Libraries and comparing all the differences.

He is survived by his nephew Joseph Angolano and his wife Debbie, as well as several other nieces and nephews. His three sisters-in-law Rosalie, Anna, and Elaine. He also leaves his great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Romeo Nascenzi, Alice Angolano, and Edward Nascenzi.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday October 31, 2023, at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence, RI, 02909. Burial will be immediately following in St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held from 9:00 -10:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
