DOMENIC A. MANERA

87, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-eight years to Muriel A. (O'Hearn) Manera. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenico and Caterina (Ventriglia) Manera. Domenic was a tool supervisor at the former ITT Hamel-Dahl Company of Warwick for twenty-five years, before retiring in 1991. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Lauren C. Hearon and her husband Jack of Ocala, FL, Kathleen A. Wiggins and her husband John, and Lisa A. Smith and her husband Douglas, all of Cranston. Domenic was the cherished grandfather of Brianna L. Smith, Jillian M. Smith, and Daniel P. Wiggins. He was the brother of Anna Blasko of East Providence, and the late Armando, Frank, Edward, and Joseph Manera, Maria Quaranta, Elvira Conti, Philomena Spencer, and Gilda Marsigliano.
