DOMENIC GRANDE

72, of Lexington Ave., North Providence, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband for 51 years of Beverly (Diano) Grande. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Belinda (Ritz) Grande. Domenic was a commercial inspector for the State of RI, Department of Labor and Training for 25 years retiring in June 2013. He was president of the Knights of Columbus-Bouffard Council in North Providence for the past 10 years and also served in the RI Air National Guard. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Sherry A. Bennett of New Fairfield, CT and Kim E. Grande of North Providence; and loving grandfather of Michael R. Bennett and Stephen R. Bennett. He was the father-in-law of Robert J. Bennett and brother of Mario Grande of Providence and the late Marie Rampone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.
