DOMENIC A. DiMAURO
Domenic A. DiMauro, 85, of Irma Ave., Warwick, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Riverview Health Center Community, Coventry. He was the loving husband of the late Aurora Mary (DiFiore) DiMauro.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic A. and Caroline (DeFusco) DiMauro, Sr. Domenic served in WW II as a 2nd LT. with the 76th Division in Europe in the Ardennes and Rhine Land Campaigns and he also served in the Korean War. He worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 20 years, before retiring
He is survived by his daughter Shirley Gantz of Warwick; his grandchildren, Mark Gantz and his wife Heather and David Gantz; and his great-grandchildren, Alex and Keira. He was the brother of the late Christopher and Louis DiMauro and Angelina Moretti.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin's Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
