Dolores R. (Velletri) Torti

88, of Johnston passed away Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Village At Waterman Lake, Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Torti, Jr.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Luigi and A.Contelina (Dragonetti) Velletri. Dolores worked for various jewelry manufacturing companies for many years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Joseph Torti, III and his wife Mary, Paula Vaillant and her husband Norman and Richard Torti and his wife Therese all of Johnston; loving grandmother of Joseph R. Torti, Lena R. Torti and Josie M. Torti. She was the dear sister of the late Ida Verdecchia, Eleanor Riccitelli, Yolanda Russo, Fredrick Velletri, Rudolph Velletri, and Iris Sokol.

She was the cherished aunt of many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 9 am. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting hours are Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
