DOLORES M. (RICCI) CROWELL

79, of Cranston and Naples, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Physicians Regional Medical Center, Naples, FL. She was the beloved wife of fifty-seven years to Richard E. Crowell, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Bassi) Ricci. Dolores along with her husband, were the owners of the former United Lock Company of Warwick for twenty years before retiring in 1994. She was a past president of the Rosary and Altar Sodality of Immaculate Conception Church. Dolores volunteered at South County Hospital in the pre-admission department. Her loves in life were her grandchildren, entertaining, love of cooking and baking, and having guests drop in. Her many friends were very special to her, and she never hesitated to be there for them.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Richard E. Crowell, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Cranston, Cheryl A. Upshall of Cranston, and Paula J. Marrero of Danvers, MA. Dolores was the cherished grandmother of Emily Crowell, Evan Upshall, Elizabeth Crowell, and Julian Marrero. She was the sister of Alfred Ricci of Rhode Island.
