45, of Cranston, received her angel wings on Monday, December 7, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence , a daughter of Emilia (Treglia) DeFalco and the late Anthony ‘Butchy” DeFalco. Besides her loving mother Emilia she is survived by her adored son Joseph Amitrano of Johnston, her dear siblings Rosa Peno (Steve) of West WarWick , Stacey Caparco of Scituate, Anthony DeFalco (Nicole) of Johnston and her cherished brother in-law Joseph Caparco of Scituate. She leaves many idolizing nieces, nephews, cousins and her special loving god parents Auntie Linda and Uncle Pat.
For those of you who really knew Dina "I'M SO PRETTY" DeFalco most of this will come as no surprise.
At a very young age Dina developed her true passion for only the finest of material things. Many of Dina's fun filled adventurous and sometimes trouble filled nights out often started with what was going to be a quick run in and out at the mall which always ended up being hours.
Dina's willingness to listen to and accept everyone no matter what they were going through made her the special selfless person she truly was. Make no mistake about it she would always be down for a good brawl. All it took was someone to look at her or one of her siblings the wrong way and it was on!! "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM....."?
She also extremely enjoyed torturing her little brother Anthony day in and day out right up until the end.
When Little Joey was born Dina's whole focus changed from herself to him. She continued with those many trips to the mall only now coming home with designer clothing and sneakers for her "good boy". The unwavering love she had for Joey was the true definition of a mother son bond.
Dina loved spending time with her family and friends especially her little twin Jolie. Dina will forever be remembered by all of her nieces and nephews as the fun loving cool aunt she was. She will be sorely missed by the countless people she touched over the years.
