DIEGO DI COSTANZO

Diego DiCostanzo 96, of Manton Avenue, Providence, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Sylvia (Guerrera) DiCostanzo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Angela (DiCostanzo) DiCostanzo. Mr. DiCostanzo was the owner of the former Rathbone Fruit and Produce Market, Providence, for sixty years before retiring in 1980. He is survived by his children, Anthony A. DiCostanzo of Manchester, NH, Thomas R. DiCostanzo of North Scituate and the late Carol Carrigan and Alan Dennis DiCostanzo. Mr. DiCostanzo was the grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of twelve. He was the brother of Marie J. Cardillo of North Providence, Jean Quaglieri of Middletown, Mario John DiCostanzo of Johnston and the late Anthony DiCostanzo. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence.
