Diane Marie Pasquazzi

Diane Marie Pasquazzi left this world surrounded by love on Monday, May 30, 2022, age 66 (although she would tell you 29) at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born May 5, 1956 to Henry Pasquazzi, Sr. and Bernice Pasquazzi in Providence, RI. She grew up and lived in Cranston, RI where she raised her son Justin Pasquazzi, who was her pride and joy. A devout Catholic, she was proud to have served as an employee of the Diocese of Providence for many years. Most recently, Diane was an Instructor for the Arts, Sports, and Technology Resource Organization (ASTRO), where she was thrilled to work with her family and share her passion for cooking and nutrition. The quintessential hostess, she enjoyed feeding all who allowed her to and those who tried unsuccessfully to resist.

Diane was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. Besides her son, she is survived by her mother, Bernice Pasquazzi, her siblings Henry Pasquazzi, Jr. and his wife Paula, Elaine Pasquazzi, Anita Kroian and her husband Michael, her nephews Michael Kroian, Adam Kroian, Stephen Pasquazzi, his wife Jennifer and their son Nicolas, her niece Emma Kirk, and her cherished godson Evan Burdick. Diane is predeceased by her father, Henry Pasquazzi, Sr., and we know she is ecstatic to see him again.

Her Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Thursday, June 9th at 10 a.m. in St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main St., Providence.
