Diane Gombeyski

63, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024 at home. 

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Elizabeth “Betty” (Coletti) Gombeyski and the late Henry Gombeyski.

Diane enjoyed working at the ARC of RI.  She loved competing in the Special Olympics and won many metals, her favorite was competing in the wheelchair event.

Diane loved her Barbie dolls, watching the Wizard of Oz and Chinese food.  She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed interacting with her cousins.  In the words of her aide Lori, “Diane just loved life!”

Besides her mother, she leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was the sister of the late Henry Gombeyski, Jr. and David Gombeyski.

Her services will be held privately.
