age 84, died on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Anthony P. Travisono. Born in Providence on Feb. 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Jean (Coccoli), and sister to the late Patricia Torregrossa. Diana is survived by three sons, Peter and his wife Nancy Pottish, Steven, and John of RI; and two daughters, Elisa McClure and her husband Edward of TX, and Jeanne Travisono and her husband Alan Christman of MT; and the adoring grandparent of Taylor, Matthew, Elisa, Michael, Kara, Ian, and Nathan; and one precious great-grandchild, Alexandra. A research editor, Diana was an award winning directories designer while employed. Upon retirement in 1991, she and her husband moved to Jamestown where she has been a communicant of St. Mark Church and an active member of the Women's Club. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, traveling, cooking, gardening, art and writing. Diana was her family's historian, documenting much genealogical data on all branches of the family tree. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 6th at 11 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 60 Narragansett Ave., Jamestown. A private burial will be in St. Mark Cemetery.
