Diana C. (Mathers) Allen

85 of Freeport, ME formerly of Johnston, passed away Tuesday November 29, 2022.  She was the wife of the late John Joseph Allen.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred (Allen) Mathers.

Diana was employed at the same time to both H & R Block, at tax season, and LL Bean, Freeport for over 20 years until her retirement.  She loved spending time at the ocean, the outdoors, and traveling.

She was the mother of Debra Pierro, and her late husband Domenic, of Freeport, ME, Linda Bitler, and her husband Bill, of Pompey, NY, Sharon Allen of Providence, John James Allen of Cranston, Scott Allen of Johnston, Christopher Allen (Lydia Mathias) of Cranston, Craig Allen, and his wife Tabitha, of Warwick and the late Pamela Allen; grandmother of six and great grandmother of eight; she was the sister of Eugene E. Mathers of Cranston and the late Barbara Valcourt, Earl, Ronald and John Mathers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Thursday at 10am in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Family and friends will meet in the parking lot across from the main cemetery gates at 9:45am. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
