Dennis D. D'Ercole

67, of Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at home. He was the loving husband of Cheryl (Wordell) D’Ercole for 43 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Philip and Bernardina (Moriconi) D’Ercole. Dennis was the brother of Philip D’Ercole and his wife Carmen of Warwick and Paul D’Ercole and his companion April Sweatt of Maine. He is also survived by his loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and godchildren.

Mr. D’Ercole was a manager for Monet Jewelry Mfg. and Charisma Mfg., for over 40 years until retiring. Dennis loved spending time with his godchildren. Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. He did volunteer work, enjoyed traveling and loved to eat and gamble.

Special thanks to the ER staff, staff at the Cancer Suite, East Wing, 3rd floor at Roger Williams Hospital and to the staff at Continuum Hospice for being there when you needed them.

His funeral will be held on Friday, Feb. 28th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
