DENISE A PARENTE

Denise A. (Coppola) Parente, 54, of Angela Ave., Cranston, died peacefully, Friday, July 13, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph D. Parente. Born in Lombard, IL, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Asp) Coppola of Carol Stream, IL and the late Harold Coppola. A long-time cancer survivor, Denise bravely faced many battles until she was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ, whom she lived for. Her life of passionate faith inspired many to seek more of God. Denise and Joseph were married at St. Mary's Church, Cranston in 1978. She also attended Cranston Christian Fellowship for many years, and most recently was a member of New Life Worship Center in Smithfield. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Katherine P. Spittal and her husband Joel of Warwick, Jessica Parente, Jonathan D. Parente and Christina Parente, all of Cranston. She was the grandmother of Joel D. Spittal, and sister of Gary Coppola of Glen Ellya, IL and Sharon Stanke of IL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday at 10 a.m. in New Life Worship Center, 915 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
