49, of West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. She was the beloved wife of John Troutman. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Linda (Conforti) Munroe.
Dawn worked as an LPN Nurse and Medical Record Administrator for the Naval Health Clinic New England in Newport. She also worked as a part-time nurse at Greenwood Center nursing home in Warwick for nearly 20 years. Dawn was a member of SouthPointe Church in Warwick. She volunteered at Dare to Dream Ranch, Inc. an organization that provides alternative therapy programs to U.S. Military Veterans. Dawn was an avid reader, a New England Patriots fan and appreciated 80’s Hair Band’s music.
Dawn was an incredibly selfless, generous person who always put others first. She loved taking care of people, which was evident through her work and in her daily life. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Dawn gave of herself unconditionally to anyone in need.
Besides her loving and dear husband John, Dawn is survived by her loving sister Lori French, her husband Al (who Dawn considered him her brother), their sons Derek and Zachary French; and her loving aunt Eleanor Kelley, who Dawn referred to as her mother. Survived also by John Westley Troutman and his son Benjamin; sister-in-law Tina Troutman (Dave), brother-in-law Barry Troutman; Dawn’s dear cousins Joe Bastardi (Jessica), Matt Bastardi (Barbara) and their families; niece Erin Flori (Stephen).
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday, January 20th at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday, January 19th from 3:30 – 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
