of George Waterman Rd., Johnston, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the devoted and cherished mother of Divana A. Boukari of Johnston. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late Antranig and Maritza (Postoian) Gurghigian.
Dawn was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Providence where she was a past choir member; and was past Choir Director at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church in Pawtucket. Dawn enjoyed the arts, singing, acting, bead work, designing earrings and purses and sewing.
Besides her daughter Divana, she was the dear sister of Paul V. Gurghigian and his wife Maureen of Lincoln and David A. Gurghigian and his wife Amy of Houston, TX.
Visiting hours are Saturday morning, November 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., both to which relatives and friends are invited. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
