David E. Sheldon , Sr

65, of Cranston, passed away on January 28, 2022 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, Providence. He was the beloved husband of 20 years to Diane M. (Angelotti) Pratt.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Cecilia (Gill) Sheldon. David worked in sales at National Lumber for many years until his retirement.
Besides his wife Diane he is survived by his loving children: Marilyn Sheldon of Cranston, David Sheldon, Jr. of Riverside, April Almeida of East Providence and Alyssa Pratt of Burrillville ; his dear siblings: Al Cook of Trout Run, PA , Deborah Olson of MA and Linda Sheldon of Punta Gorda, FL ; his cherished grandchildren: Ashley Blake, Glenn Blake III, David Sheldon III, Cassandra Raymond, Julia Vinniti and Angel Lewis Sheldon; and his great grandson: Elijah David Petit-Maitre. He was also the brother of the late Albert Sheldon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Saturday evening from 2- 6 pm followed by eulogies at 6 pm in the Nardolillo Funeral Home , 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
