David W. Moffat, 60, of Avenue D., Narragansett died on Wednesday November 7, 2007 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the husband of Margaret ( Mulvey ) Moffat. They were married for 32 years. He was born in Providence a son of the late David M. and Ellena L. ( Hill ) . Mr. Moffat served in the US Army Reserves Armor Division. He was a graduate of U.R.I. Fisheries Program and New England Technical School for HVAC. He was a commercial fisherman for 22 years, was employed at Bulova Watch Co. as a tool maker for 12 years and was also employed at Air Cleaning Concepts and was a pool installer. David was an avid gardener, reader, NASCAR fan and fisherman. Beside his wife he is survived by his children: Natalie Moffat of Lexington, SC, Eric Moffat of Wakefield, The Doll and Grasshopper. He was the grandfather of Jacob, Zachary, Derek, Riley, Stephen, Amelia and his name sake David Warren. He was the step-son of Evelyn Moffat of Scituate and brother of Marsha VanWormer of Narragansett, Ann Marie Carter of Johnston, Richard Moffat of Warwick, Sandra Kelly of West Warwick and Gail Masso of Putnam, CT. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:am in the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. ( Rt 1A ) Narragansett. Visiting hours Saturday morning 9-11am.
