DAVID D. LUCIER

David D. Lucier, 71, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston passed away Tuesday January 6, 2009 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
He was the beloved husband of Jean (Tartaglia) Lucier.
Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late John and Juliet (Duttily) Lucier. He was the owner of the former United Sign and Armory Sign and later worked for WPRI TV and Delisi Properties before retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children; David Lucier and his wife Maria of Cranston, and Maria Healy and her husband Jim of Warwick, and his three grandchildren; David, John and Shannon. He was the brother of Rene Lucier of Warwick, Leo Lucier of Richmond, Gloria Capraro of North Providence and Arlene Lucier of Lincoln, and the late Elizabeth Petrella, Helen Tarbox, Edward, Eudore, Alfonse, Alfred, Wilfred and John Lucier. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Johnston.
Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 p.m.
