DAVID N. COPPA

69, of Wyndham Ave. Providence, passed away on Friday June 15, 2012 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Carmen (Gomez) Coppa. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Nicola Coppa and Lena (Capaldo) Barone. David worked as a Bus Driver for RIPTA for 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Renaissance Lodge OSIA. He was a man full of life and happiness and loved by all.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Vanessa Coppa of Astoria NY and Nicole Coppa of Providence; dear brother of Raymond Coppa of Cranston, Marie DeLibero of Cranston, Ann Marie Anderson of Cranston and Dr. John Barone of Lincoln. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius Church, Eaton St. Providence, at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
