85, of Borden Ave. Johnston, passed away Monday August 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the devoted husband of Giulia DiCenso for 60 years. Born in Sulmona Italy, he was the son of the late Carmine and Giulia (Susi) DiCenso. Dante worked for the former Imperial Knife Company for 20 years, before his retirement. He was an avid woodworker. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Carmine DiCenso and his wife Lisa of Johnston, Frank DiCenso of Johnston; loving grandfather of Lauren, Jason and Michael and loving great-grandfather of Chaeli and Layla; and dear brother of the late Vincent DiCenso. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church 645 Hartford Ave. Johnston at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
