It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected and tragic deaths of Daniel and Theresa Pelletier. They passed away in each other's arms in a house fire early June 22nd at their Hopkinton home. Married for 28 years, they enjoyed spending time with friends and sitting around a campfire.
Daniel A. Pelletier 67, born in Cumberland RI to Arthur and Loretta Pelletier, is survived by his only son Michael D. Pelletier and his wife Jennifer of Richmond and his only grandchild Ahnya M. Pelletier also of Richmond. Danny enjoyed sitting around a camp fire with close family and friends, playing horse shoes, being outdoors, enjoying the races and live music. Hw worked in the automotive industry for 30 years retiring in 2019. Danny’s surviving siblings include Dennis Pelletier of Hopkinton, RI; Madelyn Roberts of Hopkinton, RI; Muriel Giarla of Warwick, RI; Suzanne Deslauries of Attleboro, MA and David Mello of Pawtucket, RI he was predeceased by his sister Pauline Safari and brother Richard Roberts.
Theresa Pelletier, 71 is survived by her son Greg Spargo and his fiancé Michelle Vetovis, her daughter Christine Sigmon and her husband Todd of Lee, New Hampshire and her 2 grandchildren Audrey and Joseph Sigmon also of Lee, NH. Tree adored her children and grandchildren and would spend her free time working in the garden or building puzzles. Tree was employed as a food services worker by the University of Rhode Island for 20 years before retiring in 2013.
Tree is survived by five brothers, Joe Warner of Florida, Michael Warner of Wakefield, Paul Warner of Narragansett, Peter Warner of Westerly and Stevie Warner of California and five sisters, Sandy Opal of Connecticut, Mary DiPietro of Wakefield, Anne Sherman of Delaware, Gina Holland of Tennessee, and Judy Lawhorne of Wakefield. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert A. Warner, Sr. and Beatrice (Houde) Warner and brothers Robert A. Warner, Jr. and John Warner.
