DANIEL E. MORRIS
DANIEL E. MORRIS, 80, of Lake Dr., West Greenwich, passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 at South County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie (Moretti) Morris.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Eunice (Morritt) Morris.
Mr. Morris worked for the State of RI Department of Human Services for 22 years retiring in 1990, and previously was Public Affairs Director for WTOL Television in Toledo, OH for 8 years. He was a WW-II U.S. Army Veteran.
Besides his loving wife, he was the devoted father of Martha Morris of North Kingstown, Stephen Morris and his wife Donna of South Kingstown, Dianne Wilson of Coventry, Rebecca Brown and her husband Stephen of Manchester, CT and April Colson and her husband Edward of West Greenwich; loving grandfather of thirteen; loving great-grandfather of two; and dear brother of Elaine Poland of Turkey, Paul Morris of FL and the late David and Wayne Morris.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Exeter Chapel, 765 Ten Rod Rd. (Rt.102) Exeter, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 3-7 p.m.
