Daniel L. McCusker, Jr

85, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Carmela (Carrazzo) McCusker. Daniel was a son of the late Daniel L. and Cecelia (Ainsworth) McCusker, Sr. Mr. McCusker was a computer programmer employed by General Electric for thirty seven years, before his retirement. He was a graduate from Providence College in 1952, an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War, and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Finnegan Council of Providence. Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children, Daniel L. McCusker, III of Cranston, Kathleen McCusker of East Providence, Judith McCusker of Cranston, and James McCusker and his wife Lynn of Warwick. Daniel was the brother of Leo McCusker of Bristol, Marie DiIorio of Stonington, CT and the late Raymond McCusker. He was the cherished grandfather of seven and great grandfather of two. His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
