Dahlia (DeStefano) Paras 88, of Oaklawn Ave., a Cranston resident for the past 29 years, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Lewis Paras. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Palmieri) DeStefano. She is survived by her loving children, Lewis J. Paras and his wife Gail of Warwick, Barbara Foshey and her husband James of Cranston, Beverly Jerue and her fiancAC. Frank Romanelli of East Providence, her cherished grandchildren, James Foshey, Michele Foshey, Amy Carroccio, Heather Rivera, Michael Jerue, Jessica Heredia, Matthew Paras, Elizabeth Paras and 10 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elvira Ballirano and Dorothy Longo. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Ann's Church Cranston St. Cranston.
