CYNTHIA ANN JIZMAGIAN
CYNTHIA A. JIZMAGIAN, of Cambridge, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at home. Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late George and Margaret "Marge" (Hagopian) Jizmagian; dear sister of G. Stephen Jizmagian and his wife Mary of San Francisco, CA; and loving aunt of Annemarie Jizmagian and Gregory Jizmagian.
Cynthia was a dedicated educational psychologist, and retired from the Medford School System in MA. She was dedicated to her extended family, with an incredible knack for finding the perfect gift, both unusual and pertinent. Following in the footsteps of her parents, Cynthia was an avid baseball fan. She loved gardening, bird watching, remodeling her Narragansett, RI home, and could repeat the lyrics of any song. She loved the beach, and was always heard to say "wanna go in?" She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Moshassuck Cemetery, 978 Lonsdale Ave., Central Falls, RI, followed by a Memorial Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
