Cynthia R. (Conca) Gates

62, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Gates. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Rose (Branca) Conca and the late Antonio Conca.

She worked as a hairdresser for over forty years, sixteen of which she was dedicated to the patients at Steere House Nursing & Rehab Center.

Besides her husband Robert, she is survived by her loving sons, Robert R. Gates and his wife Jennifer, and Justin Gates and his fiancée Natasha Strick; cherished granddaughter Gianna R. Gates; dear siblings Antonio Conca and Linda Gloria. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
