COSMO D. CARNEVALE

93, of Knowles Ct. Jamestown, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2010 at Newport Hospital in Newport. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna (Piscione) Manfredi-Carnevale. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Samariti) Carnevale. Mr. Carnevale was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. Cosmo was the co-founder of Mel-Co-Ed Inc. He was a man of great strength and integrity and exemplified all the qualities of the greatest generation. He was Past President of the Federal Hill Lions Club. He was the beloved father of Alberta Manfredi Woodall and her husband Thomas of Boise, Idaho, Thomas G. Manfredi and his wife Karen of Wakefield, James A. Manfredi and his wife Bonnye of Wickford and Steven P. Manfredi and his wife Christine of Andover, MA. He was the loving grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of nineteen and dear brother of Elizabeth Micieli of Cranston and Anna Bovi of Warwick. His funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
