CONSTANTINO 'JOE' DI CHRISTOPHER

89, of Merritt Island, FL, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Wuesthoff Hospice Rockledge, FL. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (D'Amico) DiChristopher. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuliano and Maria (Serra) DiChristopher. Joe was employed by the former US Rubber Company (Uniroyal) of Providence for thirty-seven years before retiring in 1978. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II.

He is survived by his loving sons, John M. DeChristopher and his wife Janet of Windermere, FL, Michael A. DiChristopher and his wife Colette of Merritt Island, FL, and Robert J. DiChristopher and his wife Dr. Marcia Sasso of Deerfield Beach, FL. Joe was the cherished grandfather of four, and the great-grandfather of one great-granddaughter. He was the brother of Amelia "Millie" Doucette of Las Vegas, NV, Evelyn Arroyo of California, and Suzy DeCiantis of Providence. He was the brother of the late, Julio DiChristopher, Mary Salera, Theresa Marzilli, and Margaret Marrapese.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by committal prayers in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Detp. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
