CONSTANCE "CONNIE" A. (THEODORE) KENT

80, of Warwick, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Celia (Bertone) Theodore. Connie was a bookkeeper for the former Geoffrey Distributing Company of Providence for eleven years before her retirement. She was a past treasurer for the Arlington Manor Residents Association. Connie had a passion for animals. She could often be seen feeding the neighborhood chipmunks and birds. Through her life, her cats Smokey, Mittens, and Tedi all brought her joy. Connie was a loving mother, relative and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived and cherished by her daughter Celia Girard and her husband Michael of West Warwick. Connie was the sister of Ethel Laurendeau of Coventry, and Mary Guglielmino of Narragansett. She was the aunt of Joseph Laurendeau, Paul Guglielmino and the late Thomas Laurendeau.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cranston Animal Shelter, 920 Phenix Avenue, Cranston, RI 02921.
