Concetta (Mancini) Marino

93, of Cranston, passed away at Miriam Hospital on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario Marino. Born in Itri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Alberico and Maria (Civita) Mancini. Concetta's journey began in her home country before she bravely immigrated to America, where she established a fulfilling life for herself and her family.

Throughout her career, Concetta dedicated many years of her life as a factory worker for Cranston Print Works. Following this, she found joy and fulfillment working at the afterschool program for St. Mary's School in Cranston, where she touched the lives of countless children with her warmth and dedication.

Concetta was a devoted member of the St. Mary Auxiliary Society Club, finding joy in the company of fellow members and participating actively in community events. Her interests spanned a wide range, as she enjoyed the simple pleasures of canning, gardening, knitting and crocheting. A lover of the beach, she cherished the moments spent there, often accompanied by her beloved family. Cooking Sunday dinners that became cherished family traditions. Her grandchildren were a significant part of her life, and she adored spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Concetta's legacy is one of love, nurturing, and togetherness, as she held her family close to her heart and delighted in their company.

She is survived by her loving children, Maria Di Rocco and her husband Paul of Cranston, Donald Marino of Cranston, Paolo Marino of Hope, and Lucia Fernandes and her husband Victor of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of Paola Pelopida, Annamaria Barney, Tiana Christy, Thomas Santurri, Rachel Marino, and Luca Marino. Adored great-grandmother of Lucia Christy, Joseph Santurri, and Aurora Christy. She was the sister of Pietro Mancini, Luigi Mancini, the late Salvatore Mancini, Father Francesco Mancini, Lucio Mancini, and Alba Pannozzo.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 31st, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
