CONCETTA 'TINA' (ESPOSITO) CARNEVALE

89, of Cranston, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Harbor Care Unit at Capitol Ridge at Providence, where she resided for the last year and a half. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred F. Carnevale. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Enrico and Rose (Del Monico) Esposito. Tina graduated from Central High School and the Edgewood Secretarial College. She worked for several attorneys in Providence until her marriage when she became a stay at home mom. She later worked for the former Warwick Shoppers World and the Zayre Corporation as an Invoice Auditor for over 25 years until her retirement. After her retirement she held various part-time jobs as a Service Merchandiser for American Greetings Card Company and a demonstrator for the Act Media Company. Tina was a member of the Sons of Italy of America, Cristoforo Colombo Loggia #2413 where she served as President for 12 years. She later became a State Trustee of the Grand Lodge of R.I. OSIA. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, swimming, boating, traveling, and shopping. She is survived by her loving son Enrico "Ricky" Carnevale and her cherished daughter-in-law Valerie Gambuto-Carnevale of Cranston. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Cristoforo Colombo Loggia #2413, c/o Jean Gauthier, 54 Ontario Avenue, Cranston, R.I. 02920.
