87, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at North Bay Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Costellese. Born in Plainfield, CT, she was a daughter of the late Emey and Yvonne (Sullivan) Handfield. Clorine was a jewelry worker and employed by various jewelry companies in the Providence area for thirty-five years before retiring in 1975. She was a communicant and volunteer at Our Lady of Grace Church.
She is survived by her loving sons, Dennis P. Costellese and his wife Linda of Vero Beach, FL, and Lawrence J. Costellese and his girlfriend Mary Ann of Johnston. Clorine was the cherished grandmother of Lori Ann and Jay Bailey, and the great-grandmother of Ty and Eli Bailey, all of Johnston. She was the sister of the late Pearl Pepper and Evelyn Moran.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
