CLAUDIA M. (CANNELLA) CICCARELLI

78, of Cranston, passed away while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was the beloved wife of fifty-seven years to Angelo Ciccarelli. Born in Itri, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Rosalba (Incecchi) Cannella. Her courageous spirit brought her from Itri to Rhode Island on June 22, 1956. She spent her life as a loyal employee of the former Tabco Braid Company and Trina Industries. Claudia was a communicant of St. Rocco Church, and a proud member of the Santa Maria di Prata Society, where she was a spiritual leader for seven years. Her enjoyment came from spending time with her loving family. She was an avid cook, baker and seamstress. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving daughters, Rosann Mangiocca of Cranston, and Luana Testa and her husband Americo of Scituate. She was the cherished grandmother of Raffaele and Christopher Mangiocca, and Americo Jr. and Ashley Testa. Claudia was the devoted sister of Agnese DeLuca of Cranston, Civitina Arduini of Italy. She will be reunited with her late brother, Francesco "Tony" Cannella and her late sister Giuliana Izzi. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 :00 a.m. at St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m. Because of her love of children, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
