CLARA (PALAZZO) TOMAO
CLARA (PALAZZO) TOMAO, 91, of Theresa St., Johnston, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence surrounded by her loving children. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Tomao. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Elisa (Bianco) Palazzo.
She was the devoted mother of Michael J. Tomao, Sr. and his wife Jeanne, and David H. Tomao and his wife Beverly, all of Johnston; loving grandmother of Michael Tomao, Jr., Ronald Tomao and Michele Doucet; loving great-grandmother of Andrea, Rebecca, Benjamin, Jacob, Joshua and Caleb; and dear sister of Joseph Palazzo of Modesto, CA, Anthony Palazzo of Providence, Mary Melucci of Johnston, the late Madeline, John, Santino and Ronald Palazzo.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
