90, of Cranston, formerly of Providence, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at Hebert Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Alcide Cantara and the late Thomas Parillo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Gabriela (D'Arezzo) Santucci. Clara was employed by the former Elmwood Sensors in Cranston for seventeen years before retiring in 1980. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Clara enjoyed, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Thomas Parillo and his wife Joanne of West Warwick and Paul Parillo and his wife Therese of Scituate. She was the grandmother of four, the step-grandmother of three and the great-grandmother of one great-granddaughter. Clara was the sister of Frank Santucci and his wife Anna of Cranston and the late Eleanor Lancia and Michael Santucci. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
