Claire G. (Courtemanche) Magnani

of Johnston passed away Friday December 24, 2021 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Pietro “Peter “Magnani.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Blanche (Arcand) Courtemanche.

Claire was an inspector for Mine Safety Appliance Company of Smithfield for 13 years before retiring. She was a member of AARP Charter 4580, Aime \ J. Forand Tenants Association, Johnston Senior Center and was a past member of Bar-B Whirlers Square Dance Club.

She was the devoted mother of Charles Magnani of Lecanto, FL., Peter Magnani of Hanover, PA., and Denise LoPresti of Cranston. She was the mother in-law of Dennis LoPresti and the late Beverly Magnani.

Claire was the loving grandmother of Sherri LoPresti – Palumbo and loving great-grandmother of Tyler and Karissa.  She was the dear sister of the late Edward Courtemanche and Donald Courtemanche.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave, on Monday January 3, 2022 at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston at 11 am.

Burial will be private.

Visiting hours are Monday Morning from 9 am - 10 am (MASK REQUIRED)
