86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Gelfuso. Born in North Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Ernest A. and Ellen (Corcoran) Baier. Claire was a bookkeeper for Cellini Inc. for many years before her retirement 1993. She was an avid Patriot's fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Lisa A. DeLuca and her husband Guy of Cranston, Andrea M. Gelfuso and her husband Hamid Pishdadian of Warwick, and Thomas E. Gelfuso and his wife Lynne of Providence. Claire was the cherished grandmother of Christopher J. DeLuca, Amanda E. DeLuca, and Erica L. Pishdadian. She was the sister of Richard Baier of Minnesota , George Baier of Colorado, and the late Irene Baier, Ernest Baier, Jr., and Edward Baier. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
