Claire M. (Rotondo) DiMascio

CLAIRE M. (ROTONDO) DiMASCIO, 96, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of the late Gino DiMascio.  Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Flamino) Rotondo.

Claire was a hairdresser and worked at Cozy Corner Beauty Salon for 60 years.  She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Cranston for over 85 years; served on the St. Mary’s School PTA for the first graduating class; and was a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society.

Claire was the devoted mother of Gino T. DiMascio and his wife Susan of Delray Beach, FL; cherished grandmother of Steven DiMascio and his wife Christine and Sheri DiMascio and her companion Al Rossi; loving great-grandmother of five; and dear sister of the late Frank, Louis and Michael Rotondo and Antonetta Ward.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Thursday morning from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
