CLAIRE H. AHLQUIST

Claire H. Ahlquist 80, of Cranston passed away Friday May 22, 2009 at the Riverview Nursing Home in Coventry. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen ( Mills ) Ahlquist. Claire was a seamstress and model at the Outlet Department Store and Miss Bakers Dress Salon. She was also a 1946 honors graduate of Aldrich High School in Warwick, where she lettered in 5 athletic sports. She is survived by her loving sibling, David Mills Ahlquist and his wife Janice of Sebastian, FL, and her sister in-law Barbara Ahlquist of Foster. She was the aunt of 5 nephews and great aunt of 13 nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Carl and Arthur Ahlquist. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Home Service on Saturday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-7 pm. Her burial will be private.
