Christopher A. “Chicken Man” Morris, 78 of Narragansett passed away Sunday March 3, 2024, with his family by his side. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Christopher and Genevieve “Jennie” (Scungio) Morris.  He was the devoted husband of the late Liliana (Turano) Morris.

He was the owner/ operator for over 50 years of the Antonelli’s Poultry Company, in Providence. He was also a member of the Lions Club, in Narragansett. An avid hockey player, he was one of the founding members of the Warwick Men’s Hockey League, sponsoring a team for many years. He was also an avid golfer.  He was a craftsman, that enjoyed helping with carpentry projects.  In 2023 he received the Federal Hill Legacy Award and was a Member of the Federal Hill Commerce Association.  He enjoyed time with all his family and many friends.

He is survived by his daughters Kerry Hahn and her husband Richard, Sherry Morris Curran and her husband Edward, and his stepson William Soares. He was the brother of Wayne Morris. He was the grandfather of Matthew Hahn, Lauren Hahn, Rachel Curran, Rose Curran, and Kacie Curran.

His funeral will be held on Thursday March 7, at 9:00 from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Church St., Cranston. The burial will be private. VISTING HOURS are on Wednesday from 4:00 -7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
