CHRISTINE E. "CHRIS" SANTOSUOSSO
CHRISTINE E. "CHRIS" (THOMAS) SANTOSUOSSO, 76, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Santosuosso, Sr.
Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Mariano and Maria (Pacheco) Thomas, she lived in West Warwick before moving to Cranston.
She was a member of Kelly Gazzero Ladies Auxiliary; Johnston Chapter of AARP; Thornton Knitting Club; and Cranston Community Action for many years donating hand made articles to the V.A. Hospital, Women & Infants Hospital and various hospitals and nursing homes in the state.
She was the devoted mother of William Santosuosso, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie, Joyce Martinelli and her husband Ron and Elaine Fournier and her husband Garry; loving grandmother of Billy and Ryan Santosuosso, Michael and Melissa Martinelli and Matthew Fournier; and dear sister of George Thomas, Irene DiRaimo and the late Mary Souza and Mariano Thomas, Jr.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
