Chester C. "Chet" Anonuevo, 43, of Magnolia Street, Cranston, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. Born in Stockton, CA, he settled in North Kingstown 42 years ago and had resided in Cranston for the past 15 years. He was a son of Luz (Compas) Anonuevo of Cranston and the late Rey Anonuevo. He was employed by R.E. Michel Co. Inc. for the past 5 years. Chet was always surrounded by many family and friends and loved to make everyone laugh. Chet was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He loved salt and fresh water fishing and loved all New England sports. He will forever be loved and missed by numerous relatives and friends. Besides his mother, he is survived by five sisters, Nattie Demesa , Soly Rodriguez , Vicky "Gigi" Tiu, Christina Giorgianni and Miki-Marie Bouthillette , two brothers, Ric Anonuevo and James "Lou" Anonuevo . His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich.
