Cheryl L. (Urquhart) Zangrilli

63, of Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Warwick, RI, she was the loving daughter of the late Richard S Urquhart and Nancy Lou Urquhart (Pierce). She was the beloved wife of 40 years of Joseph S Zangrilli, Jr. Cheryl was a graduate of Saint Joseph School of Nursing, class of 1983, where she dedicated 40 years as a registered nurse. In her free time, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren, traveling with her husband and friends, her annual trip to the Cape with her sister, spending summers down at Bonnet Shores Beach Club and making memories with her children. 

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children Heather S McGarry (Paul), Amanda L Spinella (Matthew), Joseph S Zangrilli III (Kristina), and Marissa L DeBlois (Charles III). She was the devoted Grammy of Ellery Lou and Charlie IV DeBlois and Joey S IV and Gemma Zangrilli. She was the dear sister and best friend of Laurie S Kirchmeyer (John). Additionally, she leaves behind her mother in law, Carol and sister in laws, Cheryl, Lynda and Lisa whom she held close to her heart. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Her Funeral Service, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Rd., Smithfield on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 10 am. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will be private.
