Cheryl Ann (Davies) Onanian ,

66, of Providence, passed away on Monday , August 29, 2022 at Brentwood Nursing Home after a long illness. Cheryl was born in Cranston, and is survived by her loving husband and soulmate of 47 years Edward Onanian.

She graduated from Cranston High School East Class of 1974. Cheryl had been employed as a supervisor at Ocean State Job Lot for 15 years, until she retired due to illness in 2006 . She was also an Avon Representative for 25 years.

Throughout her youth , Cheryl had been extremely close to her Nana, the late Fannie F. Hanks from whom she developed her great love and skill of cooking.

Cheryl will be greatly missed , and will be remembered far and wide for her exceptional sense of humor and very kind and generous heart . A loving soul who cared deeply for all those who entered her life. She was also a long-time member of Phillips Memorial Church in Cranston.
Besides her husband she is also survived by her parents Stanley and Patricia (Rogers) Davies of Cranston, brother Robert Davies and his wife Norma of Glocester, brother David Davies and his wife Caroline of Portsmouth, sister Joanne Davies of Pennsylvania , sister Cathy Miller and her husband Tom of Cranston, sister Linda Dugan and her husband Mike of Cranston, brother in law Charles Onanian and his wife Leslie of West Warwick, sister in law Claudette Audette of Warwick, sister in law Christine Keenan of Ireland; and was also the aunt of several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and countless friends and her beloved dog “Rusty” . She is predeceased by her mother in law Elizabeth Onanian and sister in law Gloria Belcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Home Service on Saturday at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by burial in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours: Friday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Cranston Animal Shelter, 920 Phenix Ave, Cranston, RI 02921.
